Join me to discuss the linguistic concepts from the movie Arrival. We'll look at linguistic relativity, the idea that language shapes our reality (also known as the Sapir Whorf Hypothesis). There is no need to watch the film before this lecture, however, watching it prior to attendance may enhance discussion.
